Spring Landscape Workshop with MARC DALESSIO

Saturday 23rd March – Saturday 30th

This is an intensive landscape painting workshop with master painter Marc Dalessio. Marc is renowned as one of the world’s best landscape painters. His works hang in galleries and private collections all round the world. This course will be based out of a typical swiss chalet in Les Plans sur Bex, latsalouna.ch The surrounding area is replete with waterfalls, meadows with cows, and snowy peaks.  1500chf everything included (painting materials, food, accommodation, local transportation)

CHAMONIX -MONT BLANC 5th – 10thJune 

The Chamonix valley has provided centuries of inspiration for painters. John Singer Sargent spent many summers in the Aosta valley and Simplon pass painting glaciers and mountain views. On this 5 day plein air workshop we will paint views of the Bossons glacier, Mont Blanc, and the surrounding peaks.  In the evenings we will look at the work of

Sargent, Compton and Loppe and emulate their approach in the field. Places are strictly limited to allow a small group size. All levels and abilities are welcome. The course will begin with a demonstration and an explanation of a specfic alpine colour palette.

Alpine Atelier Terms and Conditions

In order to reserve your place in a workshop, upon acceptance of your application, we will ask you to send a non-refundable deposit (payable by wire transfer) in the amount of 20% of the course fee. The balance must be received two months before the first day of the course. No refunds will be given for cancellation after payment of the balance. In the event that the Alpine Atelier is forced to cancel the course a full refund will be given.
